The idea is simple: Connect readers with each other so they can read a book together.

Being cooped up at home during a pandemic has some upsides for book worms (soooo much time for reading!), but reading in isolation can be, well, isolating. Or you may feel that you should be reading but aren’t reading, and having a bit of accountability would keep you focused.

I hope to connect you with someone who is equally interested in your chosen book and ready for engaging conversation, whether you decide to communicate via email, over the phone, video call, or in person when it’s safe to do so.

Here’s how it works:

• Fill out the form below. List up to 3 titles you’d like to read as part of a duo, in any genre.

• If another reader has listed the same title, you’ll receive an email with their name and email address within 48 hours.

• If there’s no match for your title, it’ll be listed in the next Reader Duo newsletter. It’s sent to all subscribers every Tuesday at 10am EST. See the FAQ for more details.
