Yes, as long as you’re willing to reread the book.
.
Yes, but understand that your duo will likely not have started it and will need to catch up.
.
I match duos one by one — nothing is automated. I may look into that in the future if the idea catches on, but for now it’s a manual process.
.
You’ll both receive an email with each other’s email address. After that it’s up to you how you communicate and what schedule you determine for reading and discussions.
.
I want to make sure that you’re ready to start reading together when you’re matched with your duo, so listing 3 titles seemed reasonable. Email me if you really, really want to list more than 3 — for instance, if your titles aren’t likely to get a quick match — and we can discuss options.

Only books, at least for now.

My name is Stephanie Hinkaty. I love to read and have shelves full of books, but I work full-time and have three kids and find it difficult to dedicate blocks of time to reading unless I have an external motivation.
I’ve been part of a few book groups over the years and really enjoyed talking about what we’d read, but scheduling was often tricky and I sometimes felt like I was sacrificing reading the books I wanted to read so that I could read someone else’s selection. (I know that’s one of the joys of being in a book group and I read some great books I wouldn’t have otherwise, but it can be a downside too.) I joined an online book group as a pandemic activity, but the first book put me to sleep (literally) and the idea of forcing myself to finish was depressing.
Developing this site is therefore somewhat selfish: I’m hoping to connect with other readers so I can read the books I want to read and have someone to talk about them with. And it’ll be nice to make new book-loving friends, too!
